1. Who we are and when these terms apply

BoundWise is operated by BoundWise LLC ("BoundWise", "we", "us" or "our"). Our business contact address is 75 E 3rd St Ste 7, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. Contact us at abradford@boundwise.app.

These terms cover the BoundWise website at boundwise.app and its subdomains, travel briefs, source summaries, printable reports and sample planning tools. Please read them before using these services. Where a feature asks you to agree, selecting its agreement control and continuing confirms your acceptance of this version. If you do not agree, do not use that feature. You must have legal capacity to agree; a parent or legal guardian must supervise use by anyone who does not.

The public site currently provides free information and demonstration tools. It does not offer customer accounts, take payment or make live travel reservations. Any future paid service or live booking will require the relevant offer, price, supplier details and additional terms to be presented before purchase. These terms do not authorise future charges.

2. Travel information, not a safety guarantee

BoundWise helps you find and organise travel information. Its briefs, comparisons, filters, checklists and suggested preparation steps are general information. They are not a personalised safety assessment, certification that a destination or activity is safe, or a recommendation that you should travel.

We do not provide emergency response, evacuation, security protection, medical diagnosis or treatment, legal or immigration advice, or insurance advice or coverage. We do not monitor your location or wellbeing. In an emergency, contact the appropriate local emergency service; do not wait for a reply from BoundWise.

Information may apply only to a particular nationality, passport, region, route, date or group. A national advisory may contain stricter regional restrictions. A topic missing from a report, a low advisory level, or a completed checklist is not evidence that a risk is absent.

3. Sources, summaries and updates

We attribute retrieved guidance to its publisher and show available dates. A retrieval date records when material was collected; it does not prove that the publisher reviewed the guidance on that date. A report is a snapshot, including when it is saved or printed. It does not update after download.

Automated collection, extraction and selection can fail, lag behind changes, omit material or lose context. Coverage varies between destinations and sources. Summaries are selective and cannot reproduce every exception, warning or condition. We do not promise continuous monitoring, immediate updates, complete coverage, or error-free information. Read the full original sources and check them again close to departure and during travel.

Publishers may disagree or use different rating systems. We do not treat their scales as interchangeable or guarantee a third-party source's accuracy. The source attribution and limitations shown alongside a report form part of the information about that report. If you find an error, send the page address and supporting source to abradford@boundwise.app; avoid including sensitive personal information.

4. Your travel decisions and preparation

You decide whether, when and how to travel. Verify entry, transit, passport, visa, medication, health, transport and insurance requirements with the relevant authorities and providers for your circumstances. Seek qualified professional advice when needed, follow local laws and official instructions, and keep a practical backup plan.

Travel can involve crime, illness, injury, disruption and other events beyond our control. BoundWise does not insure those risks or undertake responsibility for operating your journey. This statement does not release us from responsibility for our own conduct where the law makes us responsible.

5. Third-party services and sample bookings

Government agencies, source publishers, airlines, hotels, insurers and other third parties operate independently of BoundWise. A reference or link does not establish endorsement, affiliation or a partnership. We do not control their websites, services or decisions.

Current trips, booking examples, prices, confirmations, cancellations and provider replies in the demonstration are fictional. They do not reserve a room or flight, transfer money, purchase insurance, contact a supplier, or cancel a real booking. Nuitee is a proposed supplier; approval and a live connection have not been established.

If you later choose to book through a separately enabled provider checkout, review the identified seller, total price, payment, cancellation, refund and support terms before agreeing. A supplier's conduct is its responsibility, but nothing here removes duties that the law places on BoundWise for its own role. We will identify any material paid referral relationship where relevant.

6. Your information and saved copies

The Privacy notice explains current storage and analytics choices. Optional analytics consent is separate from agreement to these terms. Agreeing to these terms does not opt you into advertising or analytics.

Use fictional details in sample trip tools. Do not enter payment information, passwords, identity documents, medical records or other sensitive personal information. Demo entries are stored in your browser; they can be lost when storage is cleared and can be visible to others using the same browser profile. The demo is not secure document storage or a record of real bookings.

You retain your rights in your own entries. Save any information you need and check exported reports before sharing: copies may contain notes you entered, and shared page links may contain selected travel contexts. You are responsible for permission to share someone else's information. We do not claim ownership of your personal content.

7. Using reports and respecting source rights

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive permission to access the site and download or print reports for your personal travel planning. You may share an unaltered report with people involved in your trip, retaining its source references, dates and limitations. You may not sell our reports, repackage our service as your own, or use BoundWise branding to imply endorsement without our written permission.

BoundWise's original design, software and editorial material belong to us or our licensors. Third-party text, trademarks and data remain subject to their owners' rights and any applicable licences. These terms do not restrict rights granted by an open government licence or other law, and do not give us ownership of public-sector information. A copyright or source-rights concern can be sent to abradford@boundwise.app with the relevant URL and details.

8. Acceptable use and service availability

Do not use the site unlawfully, impersonate others, submit malicious code, bypass access controls, interfere with the service, or make automated requests that materially disrupt its availability. Do not misrepresent altered or out-of-date reports as our current advice. This does not prohibit ordinary accessibility tools, lawful quotation or use permitted by an applicable open licence.

We may limit access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, a security incident, legal requirements or maintenance. We may change or discontinue free features. Where reasonably practicable, we will give notice of a material interruption or withdrawal. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or preservation of browser-local entries. Changes do not remove rights or obligations that have already arisen.

9. Service limitations and warranties

The free information service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Where applicable law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site, reports or linked sources will be complete, always current, uninterrupted or suitable as the sole basis for a travel decision.

These limitations do not override an express commitment we make to you, excuse deceptive statements, or exclude guarantees, duties or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to exclude. In particular, they do not remove any applicable duty to use reasonable care and skill.

10. Limits on liability and rights we do not exclude

The exclusions and cap in this section apply only where lawful. They do not apply to fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, gross negligence, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability or consumer remedy that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Subject to those exceptions, BoundWise LLC and its members, managers and personnel acting on its behalf are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses, or loss of profit, business, revenue, opportunity or data, arising from use of or inability to use this free website and its reports. This applies whether the claim is based on contract, ordinary negligence or another legal theory, and even if the possibility of such loss was known.

Subject to the same exceptions, our total aggregate liability arising from the website and reports is limited to the greater of US$100 and the amount you paid directly to BoundWise for the affected service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. This cap does not limit a refund or other remedy that the law requires.

If you are a consumer and a disclaimer, exclusion or cap is not permitted by the law that protects you, it does not apply to you. Nothing in these terms restricts non-waivable consumer rights, prevents you from reporting a concern to a regulator, or removes responsibility the law places on us for our own acts or omissions. Each limitation applies only to the extent it is valid in your circumstances.

11. Questions, complaints and applicable law

Please contact abradford@boundwise.app or write to BoundWise LLC at the address above with questions or complaints. Include the relevant page or report and a description of the issue. Contacting us is an opportunity to resolve a concern, not a requirement to give up a claim, delay urgent relief or miss a legal deadline.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without applying its conflict-of-law rules, except that mandatory protections under other applicable law, including consumer law where you live, continue to apply. Subject to those protections, the state and federal courts with jurisdiction in Wyoming will hear disputes concerning these terms.

Consumers retain any right under mandatory law to bring proceedings in their home courts. These terms do not require arbitration or waive any non-waivable right to a court, jury or collective remedy.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service, legal requirements or reasonable operational needs. We will publish the revised version with its effective date and make material changes reasonably prominent. Updated terms apply prospectively; they do not retrospectively change an existing claim or an agreed purchase. Where your agreement is required, we will ask for it before the revised terms apply to that feature.

You can print or save this page for your records. This page is version 2026-10-15. A report's date and any saved copy help identify the information and terms available when it was produced.

13. General provisions

If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue only to the extent they can operate lawfully. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. These terms and any additional terms expressly agreed for a specific service describe our agreement for that service; they do not exclude liability for fraud, override mandatory rights, or cancel an express promise we made.
